130 million girls around the world are missing from classrooms. 

The film, Girl Rising, spotlights the unforgettable true stories of 9 girls living in the developing world, striving beyond circumstance and overcoming nearly insurmountable odds to achieve their dreams. Directed by Academy Award Nominee, Richard E. Robbins, written by acclaimed female writers, and voiced by acclaimed actresses including Meryl Streep, Kerry Washington, Anne Hathaway and more, Girl Rising proves that one girl with courage is a revolution.

Join us at 945 St.George Blvd on Tuesday Feb 5th at 7pm for a screening of this incredible film and be part of the discussion and refreshments to following the film.  Learn more about the challenges girls face to access their education and how organizations like World Vision and ACIC are working to improve access to girls education globally.
