Communities, Conservation & Livelihoods Conference

  • Saint Mary's University 923 Robie Street Halifax, NS, B3H 1G3 Canada (map)

The overall theme of the conference is centred on local communities creating change for the better. How can local communities, around the world, take care of their environment and as a result, support their local economies? We expect over 300 international delegates to attend the conference.
The conference will be featuring a wide range of sessions/events, including oral presentations, talking circles, community-focused gatherings, panel discussions, roundtables, and workshops, as well as artistic performances (e.g. dance, drama, music), photography exhibits and film showings.
If participating in this gathering appeals to your group/organization, you are most welcome to propose a contribution. We hope those in your organization will be interested in the conference. Registration will open in February 2018.
If you have any questions concerning the CCL conference don’t hesitate to call me at (902) 491-6584.

Project Coordinator, CCL Conference
