A weekend intensive at Tatamagouche Centre delving into the art of running roleplaying games for diverse audiences and skill levels
Award-winning game designer Avery Alder will guide participants through what it takes to bring roleplaying games to new tables and players: choosing the right game structure for your group's needs, hosting strategies to make players feel welcome, accommodating diverse needs in play, and running games that are inspiring and engaging. Participants will develop skills and techniques for game-mastering, and explore how to bring curiosity-driven collaboration into the games they play. Everyone will get hands-on experience running a short game during our breakout groups, and time to reflect on what they'll be bringing back home with them.
Learn how to run games for diverse communities and new players, and how to tailor the experience to the people you sit down to play with.
