Global Roundtable: International Reflections from Canadian Youth

The Global Roundtable is a free community gathering in Halifax centred around stories, conversation, and connection. Bringing together International Youth Internship Program (IYIP) alumni, youth, and community members, this event creates space to share how experiences abroad continue to shape the ways we think about community, solidarity, climate justice, and global citizenship here in Canada. Through alumni-led reflections, collaborative discussions, creative workshops, and shared experiences, participants will explore what it means to carry lessons across borders and bring them back home. Alongside local Halifax international cuisines, the evening aims to foster meaningful dialogue and remind us that global citizenship begins through listening, reflection, and relationships within our own communities.
