(www.iacdglobal.org) is very pleased to announce our upcoming conference,What’s Working in Community Development?
The purposes of this international conference are to:
1) Facilitate the exchange of good practice information and research among community development workers and thinkers; and 2) Facilitate networking among community development practitioners in Nova Scotia, with the Community Development Society, and in other parts of the world.
This intimate event for 150 participants will take place from June 23rd – 25th 2008 at Acadia University (www.acadiau.ca) in the idyllic rural community of Wolfville, Nova Scotia, Canada.
BURSARIES NOW AVAILABLE!
Bursaries are available to provide funding
for individuals working/volunteering in community
development that may not otherwise be able to
access funding to attend What’s Working in
Community Development. It will allow them
to participate in this important international
professional development and networking
opportunity.
